SUMMARY
Create a refresh and rebranded packaging label for Campbell's Soup as a mock project. My class used the official dieline for the classic soup can size. The main thing I learned from this project was understanding how to interpret current company assets. I was having trouble with the refresh as first, and kept straying too far away from the original branding. After a couple of tries, I was able to dial it back and create something that presented more like how Campbell's would.

REBRAND
This part of the project I had complete creative freedom with the label. I was inspired by retro soda ads, and wanted to try something completely different. I decided to work around a concept of exploding soup, with a tomato soup illustration splashing across the entire can. I also created custom typography for the Campbell's Logo to match my theme.

REFRESH
I took a few different approaches for this part of the project, but ultimately let myself to work within a certain area by using a semi-circle. On the top and bottom of the dieline features a yellow semi-circle pattern, and the images of the tomatoes and mushrooms are encapsulated by this same semi-circle. This also allowed me to swap the red and white on the backgrounds of each can to match the types of soup I picked as well.
